New skill set, Well the start of one.
Arc welding was a lot more challenging than I thought it would be, i mean thought it would be hard, Just not that hard and it’s not something you would want to take up in summer. But not choice really as the course is only offered once a year.
Two days of bookwork tested my Japanese with all welding specific words and a few verbs which I’ve never heard of, close to three decades in Japan and still learning how to speak, definitely a worthwhile experience putting me way out of my comfort zone.
Still looking for somebody else to take me to the next level, I’ll buy a welder once winter pops around.
