360 photography has always amazed me, video not so much, stills. “Wow!” sums it up nicely.
I’ve wanted to dip my toes into the murky waters of 360 video for a while now, 360 video branches off into two directions.
360 video VR: I can’t see the point of 360 video as VR beyond use in porn, don’t worry you are not going to see my greatest hits anytime soon (side note: I am writing this post naked).
360 video shoot and reframe: This seems to be the most significant advantage of 360 video, shoot everything then reframe it as a standard video. Whether this is going to play nicely into my workflow, I don’t know and coughing up 59,000yen just to find out was a little painful.
